Abstract

The educational path for Afro-Peruvian women has been constructed as a utopia, this article brings some testimonies and reflections that present the structural and social difficulties for Afro-Peruvian women to consider the educational path as a possibility. Through an autoethnographic writing and in dialogue with testimonies of 17 Afro-Peruvian women, this article constructs reflections that present the educational path as an emancipatory, collective and resistance tool for Afro-Peruvian women.

Magister en Desarrollo Comunitario por la Universidad Estatal del Centro Oeste de Paraná UNICENTRO, en Brasil. Licenciada en Trabajo Social por la Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal en Perú. Directora del Instituto Internacional de Investigaciones Afrodescendientes INAFRO.
