Traditional religions are on the cross-road, as they are going through the acute crisis in the contemporary context. The offering of the content of these traditions no longer has any effect, for the exodus from one tradition to another is visible. There were several attempts to stop these migrations without modifying their own inner structures, thus there was no success. The offer of religious content by the new religious manifestations seems to have a better impact on the population that is seeking the solutions to the spiritual issues. Within this context, we find the friction between the memory of traditional religions and the emotion of Pentecostal movements, where there is a visible preference of the population for emotion than memory. The article provides an overview of the phenomenon of religion in the world, pointing out the root of the crisis and gradual growth of the new religious manifestations among which we find the contemporary Pentecostalism.
