It is the result of a technical opinion prepared in April 2017, requested by CáritasBrasileira (Regional Minas Gerais). Six communities in the municipality of Mariana (MG) were visited due to the rupture of this dam: Paracatu de Baixo; Paracatu de Cima; Pedras; Borba; Campinas; Ponte do Gama. The information obtained in field was analyzed under the process of triangulation of reports, data and the theoretical contribution of multifunctionality of agriculture (MFA).
