Abstract

This article aims to present the process to preserve the Cerrado Holy Spirit parish. Wishing to understand the true value of tipping process for the community, this research raises questions: What is the understanding of the local community in relation to historical heritage and tipping? The process to preserve the Cerrado Divine Parish of the Holy Spirit has increased the number of attendees? The parish is properly preserved after lodging? What economic benefits tipping brought to the parish? Making use of literature, especially with regard to the preservation of concepts and tipping and a search of the model survey to collect views of church goers, we intend to reflect on the relationship between community and heritage in the city of Uberlândia.
